Meet Riley.
When she was nine, Riley got in trouble for selling handwritten short stories during recess. Punishment would not deter her; every week, kids would line up on the playground, quarters in hand to wait for the newest installment, consequences be damned. Since then, Riley has been searching for new ways to creatively break the rules of storytelling—through film production, music, research, and writing. Her roots as a jazz saxophonist set the tone of her work -- there are no rules! A UCSD theater & Columbia research graduate, Riley continues to grow as a researcher, actor, writer, director, and advocate through the blending of voices and storytelling across mediums. Her focus as of late has been the passionate pursuit of accurate mental health portrayal, especially in film!
